All my CMMs run with protected mode. An operator called me and said the software layout looks different. There is a bunch of buttons now. Checked it out and pcdmis was unlocked. I nor my co programmer were in the area so we don't know how it got unlocked. He said he was trying to close the program while wear gloves and accidentally clicked on something else.
So I locked it down and asked him to repeat what he did. He opened a program, clicked file and clicked on Edit File which unlocked the program into edit/admin mode. What is the purpose of this if we want to lock down pcdmis?
neil.challinor Doesn't that only work for the File Operations menu and not the actual File Menu. I just tried it with no ability to remove the CLOSE functionality of the main PC-DMIS File drop down. Only was able to do so from the File Operations.
