Think I already know the answer, but I'm doing due diligence to try to make the boss less unhappy....
We and our Italian division are going to be doing joint production of one of our new product lines. It was brought up in a meeting that maybe we could somehow share CMM routines. I don't think we can but was asked to look into it. They have an LK machine running Arcocad. I've looked into Arcocad and it's supposed to be an implementation of DMIS 5.0.
According to the PC DMIS help file you can import generic DMIS files but I've not been able to get anything close to working. A short line of code and a document comment is all that shows up.
Is there something I'm missing or is it just not possible?
