I have a customer that has requested the hit data be shown on the report for each profile dimension. I have created snapshot views with the point IDs from various angles, but this isn't enough. The profile command lists the "hit" number, not the point ID. The customer wants the hit number. I've tried creating analysis view commands that show the hit number, but the CAD model isn't visible.
Is there a way to add the CAD model to an analysis view command, or show the profile hit number in a snapshot?
Thanks for the help.
For reference I've given the customer the entire program as a text file and explained that the "hit" number is just the position in the constructed set for the measured point. They could easily cross reference the list of points in the constructed set to figure out which hit is which point.
Create your profile and then add a pointinfo command (INSERT>REPORT COMMAND>POINTINFO). Turn CADGRAPH=ON for your profile command and then add the SNAPSHOT. The report will show the CAD model, graphical deviations and hit numbers.
Thank you very much that is exactly what I needed.
Would viewsets be necessary if I only want to show a few points at a time? I've got a lot of points and it gets crowded with all the IDs. Should I be able to have a bunch of these for every group of points I want to show?
