i Looked for a similar post, but didn't see one. I'm Trying to Measure Tip #5 at A40B90. Tip #1 keeps crashing on shank of calibration sphere. If i put the sphere at an angle, how i can i relate it back to the other tips. Thanks in advance!
best bet is TWO cal-spheres, or you MAY be able to put the cal-sphere at a 45/45/45 angle and be able to get all the tips that way.
To use TWO cal-spheres, they must have unique names, and BOTH must be located on the CMM with the MASTER PROBE, then you can use either to calibrate any tip.
