Should we update to 2022 or 2023

We are currently running 2017 and may need to update now. I'm curious if everyone is happy with 2023 as that would be what we prefer if/when we do this.

I'm decent with pcdmis, but I've been neck deep programming our CT recently. We have this statistical software that takes all our outputs and deals with them, So in essence, it is an all or nothing thing. We cannot afford to run two versions at once as the statistical software won't accept two varying outputs in csv.

That said, has anyone been thru that? Do you just sit there all day for a couple days and just power thru F9 ing all the features to make sure all the vector points are correct and then run some correlations with the previous software? I work with a senior CMM pcdmis programmer and that is pretty much what he is expecting us to have to do, as he is crazy about our accuracy in hit points which I respect.

edit...I think a while back I read there was an updater software to do this, but I can tell you that my Senior programmer nor I would trust that wholeheartedly. maybe I am thinking of something else, but I think I read there is an updater somewhere. maybe someone has experience with how good it works or doesn't.
