Our floor CMM which is GLOBAL S version:2019.2, always retreated back around 3-5 mm after checked surface and center hole with 90 -90 or 90 90, please check the attached screenshot. Is there anything with the head of the machine or something else? I did find whenever those issues happened. restart the controller or computer did not work, I have to regenerate the feature to clear the errors ( I think this is about internal variables storing data in the program).
We bought the machine with the pc from Hexagon 3 years ago. Last year I was told to open pc-dmis software first, then load the part program from File menu. If we tried to open part program from the folder directly, it might fail to load the program
That error is when the feature is outside the search distance for probing. Can be caused by the feature being out of position or probe calibration error. to increase the search distance F10 Parameter settings, Motion, and increase the check distance.

The error showed in the attached picture happened after find hole center and sample hit =3. It tried to do the accurate 10 hits, but with wrong hitting position, away from the center axis
