Stable version of PC-DMIS

I'm in a shop with 7 CMMs and all are currently running 2018 R2. This version is working fine, but I know that the longer you hold out to upgrade the riskier it is when the newer version opens it.
I was hoping to get some feedback on recent releases and pick the most stable one, both for running and programming. Any opinions?

Be sure you are ready to change from XactMeasure to GeoTol before you go past 2020 R2 (I believe).

The more XactMeasure you have, the worse that update will be.

But I like 2021.2 also. Stability is the same as 2021.1, but I like different before/after clearance moves in 2021.2. I haven't used anything newer, and only up to 2019 before making the switch to 2021.

That was one of the biggest reasons for holding off, but I know sooner or later we'll have to go forward. Thankfully we only us XactMeasure when we need to utilize MMC on a datum or do a simultaneous evaluation of the position of bolt patterns without a tertiary datum. Mostly we build the alignment to the FCF and use legacy position.
