Hello All, PCDMIS 2020R1 I built a custom star probe using the probe builder utility in PCDMIS. When I try to calibrate it will not find the sphere as related to my master probe. It is like it is ignoring the 30mm extension and the 35mm extension. If I try to just calibrate this single probe by taking a manual hit on the sphere with Tip1 in A0B0 then it will calibrate the other tips(of the star) with good results as long as I do not rotate in either A or B. If I rotate to A0b180 and tell it the sphere hasn't moved then it misses the sphere by a mile!(really about 30-35 mm in Y and Z) Anyone have any ideas what I might have done wrong? This was my first time using the custom probe builder utility.
Try doing a MAN+DCC alignment the first time (reply no it has not moved when prompted to if you have a master probe calibrated before). After the MAN+DCC goes through the first time (you will be asked to find the sphere for each tip) you can change the mode to DCC or DCC+DCC for every other calibration to follow.
