There are sheet metal parts, there is a hole in the shaped part. The form is angled at ninety degrees. According to cad data. The measured value is ninety-two degrees. How can I measure the diameter of the hole in the form correctly?
Can your tip easily get to the hole? If so, once aligned to the part, rotate that alignment in whatever axis needed to the 92 degrees (or two degrees, not really sure with your wording), and then give the hole a "1" vector (depending on nearest axis as well.) The CMM should then probe the diameter correctly.
