protected mode will not unlock

I have been using protected mode for a while and today it will not let me get out, so I went in the setting editor to check the password and it is correct, anyone seen this?

went into the settings editor and saw the password was correct so changed the setting from 1 to zero and it is working again.

That is an odd one..glad you got it figured out
