Am I in Simulation Mode?

I had my pc dmis software updated to 2023 recently by Hexagon. Occasionally since then, I will do the manual hits at the start of a program to do my initial alignment, then when the program switches to DCC to run the rest of the program it runs on the screen but the machine does not move. Is there a simulation mode that I am unaware of and toggling on by accident sometimes?

  • PC DMIS has two modes. Online and Offline.

    Online:
Software is connected to the machine. If you run the program the machine will move in real life. Use this mode when measuring parts.

    Offline:
Software is NOT connected to the machine. If you run the program it happens in the simulated offline environment. Use this mode when writing a program.

You switch between modes by going to PC DMIS' main screen and then clicking File/Open, find your program, but before you actually open it theres a dropdown menu that lets you choose the mode you need.
