I believe they want the tp of the tab width. Are you using an optical to measure this? I feel like an optical would be the only way to achieve this, and even with that it might be difficult
I agree with the others. An optical measurement system may be your best bet with the part being so thin. The length of the flats may pose a problem, but the tolerance zone is quite large.
