Operator Mode won't run program

it will run in online mode, no problem.

but same machine, same program wont run in operator mode. it'll qualify probes, but click the start button and the program pauses right away... crickets... no dialog boxes, no run box, nothing...

also, the program will run in both operator mode and online mode on other machines (we have 5 here).

thoughts?!?

Can you share some code?

Was there any changes to the program before you created the Marked Set? Try creating a new Marked Set, and make sure there's no GOTO statements in the marked set that may be skipping features.

If you have a NJB controler there is a pause/ play button at around the bottom of the controler. Make sure the light is on. HTH

thx. it runs in online mode just fine. switch to operator mode and it freezes right away. no dialog boxes, no nothing

its not skipping anything. its not running at all. no startup dialog boxes, nothing. which i quess means its skipping everything ;-)

are you using marksets>? its possible someone markset it to not read or execute it or put a block command in the beginning of the routine also

This is also the first thing I would look for as well. I hope he got it working. I never saw a block command before either, I don't think we use it.

turned out it was user permissions. the operators were blocked from seeing the dialog boxes so they couldnt answer questions or add entries when the program was started. we regedited the settings from an operator that was working and copied them into the operator user. problem solved. thx for all your help though.
