I am machining a slot in a piece of 4140. The print has the measurements of the slot measured as distance from the end of the part to the ends of the slot. How would i measure this dimension?
Measure the end of the part. Measure one of the circles that make up the slot. Ask for distance between the end and the circle and check the Subtract Radius radio button on the right side of the dialog box.
