Thanks for reading. Had a quick inquiry as to why one of my distance dimensions are goofy and was hoping maybe someone could provide some insight.
I'm measuring two distances in the same workplane. A 14 inch distance as well as a 10 inch distance. The 14 inch dimension coincides with an indicator on a height gage within .0002". However, on the 10 inch dimension, the CMM gets it undersized, but when checking with the indicator its actually a few tenths above nominal.
The CMM readout vs the height stand with indicator on this dimension is a difference of .023". Anyway, I could possibly tighten this up? Thanks again for your time.
