Custom Z axis Column?

I have prepared myself for the abuse to follow. (yes I tried searching)

In the past I went in and edited this part from my drop down list for my offline seat to make it taller, surely after reading a post on the forums...
Its been great for programming offline as it will easily detect any potential collisions with the Z axis column.

Now I need to make this same edit for my coworker, and I can not for the life of me remember where or how I made this edit.
Seems to not be in probe.dat so I am at a loss.

Can one of you Gurus tell me where to look?
I am running PC-DMIS 2020 R1 and R2

Wouldn't it be as easy as just copy the probe file over ? You had to have made some type of custom component ?

There's the custom probe builder utility. You can also edit the probe.dat file in the PC-DMIS installation folder. I did this to edit the color of my 3x50mm probe to match the ceramic color of the stem.

Did you modify your machine.dat files? I forget exactly where they're located but I do remember they were located in the PcDmis root install folder... its been a while.

For probably over 10 years now modified components are stored in usrprobe.dat and not probe.dat.

This can be found in C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\PC-DMIS\2023.2

This is the correct information. Probe modifications should be in the usrprobe.dat in the program data folder for PC-DMIS. Othewise you may have done it in the probe.dat in the PC-DMIS folder, it should be in one of those 2 files.
