3D Scan to MESH to CAD

Hi all !

I'm trying to create a CAD from a 3D scan of a part.
We have no original CAD, so been asked to see if we can make one.

When i create a mesh its looks a bit off. Some clumps here and there.

Can anyone give me some direction on how to get this right

  • When creating a 3D mesh, you can apply a profile (Fast, Normal or Detailed). I see that you currently have it set to "None". The profiles are designed to take the "guess work" out of knowing which settings to apply and generally give better results. I'd suggest trying the "detailed" profile to see if it suits your needs.
