Need help for Blade inspection

I am using PC-DMIS version 4.1, mr-1. Need to inspect blade/blade twist. How can I using noted software? Note: After reading the forums can I come to the conclusion that without "Blade" software and training that it is almost impossible?

  • The blade software by B&S produces very pretty pictures and in all fairness, it will give answers to data processed. I tried using it way back when, when they first put it on the market. (3.5 floppies). It was so complicated it required them to practically re-write it especially for our particular application. We ended up not using it but writing our own. Once you have the data measured, you can get anything out of it that you need. From the date of your posting, you probably have this figured out by now. I'm new to this forum.
