Do they by chance have a probe build saved onto your machine for when they did calibration? Whenever Hexagon does our Calibration they add their own probe build, and they don't always delete it. It may be because we have a lot of varying probe builds, and our list is extensive.
You may find one in there named "Service" or "Calibration". We have one named "Service" on ours.
We just had our 2 year old Global S Blue calibrated yesterday. The tech asked me if he could borrow a 5mmX50 styli, and I said "I thought you would use the 5mm X 20 as we have as our Master". He showed me in his Procedure where he is instructed to use the 5MMX50.
