Program locks up at first report command

Running 2022.2 SP 3

On my setup comment, no message box appears, and program freezes up.

Cannot cancel the program. Have to close PC-DMIS through the Task Manager.

Happened earlier this week. I did a full reboot, homed it out, and it worked fine for a day. Now....no such luck.

What are your current report format settings? Do they include Min/Max?

If so you could real quick, try changing the format options reporting it without min max selected if so, and hit apply? This may not be the answer.

I have had PC-DMIS crash on me in programs where I add Min/Max into my reporting section.

If Homepage is active, try disabling it. Otherwise, try shelling your program. To shell, copy all your code, then paste into a brand new program.

Maybe the prompt is opening off screen, in which case I would utilize the 'Cascade' feature from the Window drop down.
Alternatively, you can do it for the Windows environment by right-clicking in empty space on the task bar and selecting 'Cascade Windows'.

UPDATE*** When I close out PC-DMIS and re-open it, my F5 settings have changed.

ETA: never mind, I didn't hit save within the program after changing the setup options. LOL

Problem still exists. Can't run any program with a report command/comment in it.

Are you running PCDMIS with a windows login that has full admin control over your PC?

Update:

With Hexagon support we got it fixed.

Ended up deleting the .dat files and the .json file and re-starting PC-DMIS.

That strategy wipes out the command mode, the search path and all but the basic ToolBar Icons, but that was quickly set back to normal.
