I'm measuring a cylinder using an auto cylinder and 3 rows of points. I'm reporting cylindricity.
Tell me why the hit points look like this if the feature is machined with no interrupted cuts?
Well then lots of reasons, lathe part could be clamping pressure.
Mill turns are scary mystical beasts. Could simply be worn tools or holders in the machine.
I've not run into anything like this before, but is it possible that the probe triggers are delayed, or even potentially not sending data on some hits?
False triggers?
