I require positive reporting for my excel template to function properly. I added the parameter to the beginning of my program "POSITIVEREPORTING/X,Y,Z/ALLDATA". I am still getting 2 dimensions reporting as negative. (I haven't used this function before)
DIM 54_1= 2D DISTANCE FROM CYLINDER CYL20 TO PLANE DATUM_C PAR TO ZAXIS,SUB_RADIUS UNITS=IN,$
GRAPH=OFF TEXT=OFF MULT=10.00 OUTPUT=BOTH
AX NOMINAL +TOL -TOL MEAS DEV OUTTOL
M -0.1400 0.0050 0.0050 -0.1403 -0.0003 0.0000 #-
It is showing on the PDF report and the excel report as negative. I am unsure as to why this would be happening. I have tried flipping their order.
So why would there be a function under the Dimensions Tab for positive reporting, if it would only apply to axis dimensions? Isn't the intention to report Absolute values?
Some commands take effect when you type them, not necessarily where they are in the program. DISPLAYPRECISION is one example. Delete and re-create the characteristics.
