Search path resets intermittently

Question

My search path for my program folder resets every few days. It is a minor annoyance but I have no idea what is causing it. The path is on a network drive, but there never seems to be any connection issues with the drive. I have the same search path set on my offline seat pc, and that version does not reset. Both 2022 r2.

Is it dropping the path after closing PC-DMIS? If so, it is a permissions issue at the workstation, just ask your IT to come and 'Run Program As Administrator' 
 You can test by setting the path, closing PC-DMIS then reopen and view if the path has reset. If closing PC-DMIS and re-opening it still shows the correct path, you have a different issue.
