What is purpose of recall directory in search path and any link with recall sys? pl refer below image .pl help to answer

It's where alignments are saved / recalled when a save/recall alignment command doesn't explicitly contain a search path, just the alignment name.

The alignment can be saved to any directory. However, to use the saved alignment file in a measurement routine, it must be saved the same directory as the measurement routine or in the user-specified Recall Directory.
