Paste with Pattern Angle is Pasting around Wrong Axis

Question

I'm probably missing something obvious. I'm trying to pattern a point around a surface to make a plane. I've done this before and its patterned the points around the axis that is perpendicular to the plane which places all the points on the plane I'm measuring. This time its placing the points around an axis that is parallel to the plane. I cant seem to find any setting in the pattern dialog box for setting the axis of rotation for an angle offset. You are in the wrong workplane I believe. You being in XPLUS means it is patterning about X Plus instead of Z Minus. That point has a Z- Vector.

In your video, at the top there next to the Probe Tip dropdown it says "XPLUS", click the dropdown and select Z Minus, or appropriate workplane. You can always try getting used to working in Command mode instead of summary mode, a lot more customization and information visible.
