DRIVE ERROR: command refresh timeout on X axis

Hello, 
 
 I run my program in DCC mode. Randomly it will be unable to check points and it'll spit this error out at me. 
 I say randomly because there really is no predicting this. 
 It'll check PLN1 on the x axis. 
 no problem 
 PLN2 on the x axis 
 no problem 
 PLN3 on the x axis 
 it'll stop at a random point on the plane and give me the error. 
 Now, I say randomly, but after it get's tripped up on a point, it will stop at that same point every time. But the initial triggering of the error feels as if it happens randomly. 
 What's weird is, I solved this issue on another program I had, just by moving the points around a little bit. But now I'm trying the same solution with no effect. 
 
 What is going on here? Why is this happening? I've seen very little about this problem online.

hmmmmm that's very interesting. After spending some more time, I found this to be the most plausible diagnosis. I found simply moving the fixture to a different section of the machine yielded better, more accurate, results. Even my scans had less hiccups. I'm commenting in the hopes that maybe someone else who has these problems might find this helpful.
