Setting "Measured" As First Column In Report, Global Pref Anywhere?

Yup, 100% that. Just F9 that format right there, and if you don't have a format line. Type format in edit window, then F9 that.

I've changed it, and set it as default but it doesn't carry over from program to program. 

I will add that it does work for new programs I create but not previously created programs. 

I typically change it every program I do at the end before I'm done, as we have some programs that use 2 different formatting. Some we use Min/Max, and others we do not include it. Defaults will work for new programs.

So weird. All my reports were formatted as measured first, and that's how I learned PC-DMIS and then when upgrading to latest version, it all changed. Even the reports that were previously set as stated. 

Did you recently change versions? I am wondering if the setting for the defaults in different versions affects the format order. Grasping at straws here as that is an odd interaction you had there.

Yes I was previously on 2019.1 and now on 2023.2

That is my guess then, something happened when saving as different versions, or even opening them. Try opening a program in 2019.1 and checking format. then open it in 2023.2. Although you already changed your default so it may not happen anymore.
