overspeed alarm only on new programs from the offline seat since we got the scanning set-up

We just got a scanning head set-up recently. Ever since it was set up the current programs that i convert on the cmm computer are fine but any new program from my offline seat as soon as it goes to do its first scan it gives me an overspeed axis alarm. i can swap back to touch and its fine. it does not seem to be mechanical. i feel like its settings but i dont see anything out of the ordinary.

  • Make sure your routine's code doesn't have prescribed accel parameters or probe configuration settings in it.

Look in your routine for sections titled " OPTIONPROBE/" or "ACCELERATION/", and either correct them so they work with the system you are using, or delete them (which will push the system's default settings as configured with settings editor/FDC

Furthermore, make sure your machine's default settings for that sensor are what hexagon deems optimal.  A simple Hexagon IT ticket should get this in order for you.
