Diameter component of perpendicularity dimension does not match the measured diameter

Hello,

Today I had to measure a c'bore that is 0.591 +.001 -0 for Ø and perpendicularity.

The c'bore is .090 deep.

The Ø measurement of the feature itself is .5912

The location dimension matches the feature.

The Ø that is part of the perp dimension is .0003 less and OOT because of that.

Is this a bug?

The GD&T size evaluations are calculated differently than the "regular diameter" value. GD&T size evaluations are more like standard-compliant calculations, while the "regular" diameter value is calculated depending on what diameter calculation type you have set for that feature (when measuring).

Thanks, I will look into the options. Is this a recent change? We had been on 2020R2 until a couple weeks ago and I have not had much time in the new version.

The Geometric Tolerance command was introduced in 2020 R2.
