Hello all
I got an work order to measure a spring wire. After I loaded the CAD, I could not get the cylinders, only got some points. I think I did not get the right workplane. Any short cut to get the cylinders? So I could move the origin to what the blue printing wants.

What format did you use to import?
Also aside from that, those little lines displayed on everything have messed me up in the past because the Demon thinks you are "clicking the line" not the cylinder surface.
Try removing them and see if it works. 
Select only "lines" type and drag a box on the screen around your part. Should find a lot of them base on your image.
