Moving to New Building

Any time you move a CMM it's best to contract Hexagon to be on-site for the move, and conduct a calibration As-Found (before move) and As-Left (after move). 

Hexagon will also make sure that the machine's shipment bracketing is properly installed.

That way you are certain the move didn't impact the calibration status of your device. 

Call it cheap insurance to your boss, that you (or whoever is handling the move) doesn't fubar a $160k machine.  All it takes is one bozo to turn the wrong way, or hit a bump going too fast, with a forklift, to turn that thing into a tombstone (literally, cemeteries love buying the scrap granite!)

100% agree with your recommendation Louis. I would personally send an email to management requesting Hexagon support as well. Just to CYA in the event something is damaged during transit so you cannot be blamed for not "saying something".
