I have a call out for a cylinder TP in a certain length. Can I convert it to check the profile of the cylinder: PROFILE|d1m|A|B|C| SURFACE PROFILE CYL7?
Right now, I cut the cylinder with 2 planes ( Top and bottom of the hatched area), get 2 circles, and report the TP of both circles.

I wonder how do we calculate T of the profile from X Y Z or deviation from nominal of X Y Z. I have translated hits of a 18-hit cylinder to points for example:
I thought T should be greater than any of deviation of X, Y,Z , but It did not like that.

You could potentially convert you cylinder to a feature set (SCN) and profile the scan that's been created. This will allow you to basically see the form / cylindricity of your cylinder with the arrows.
