When I start a new measurement routine, that routine names the features. Example: measure a point, PC-DMIS will name that “pnt1”. Something changed in our system, where now PC-DMIS will name all points “re-check point 28.1.37" and begins sequencing point from this name. This then has to be manually changed for each point in the program. Is there a way we can change the setting so it will begin at "pnt1"? Screen shot below with highlight of Starting letters.
