Probe not scanning during calibration

using Trax is dependent on your CMM and controller. if you have a Global chrome with an analog probe then you turn it off if you have a global blue or green with an analog probe you turn it on there are other conditions that matter as well. Reach out to Hex tech support and get the manual for your probe sensor. it will tell you what settings you need.

Ok thx.  As a side question, does this sticker color indicate the model?  Because it's blue, but our certificate says green.

No the cert sticker color is not what matters. You have a Global Green. Look at the leg of the cmm where it says "EPS". Ours is a blue

I'm not seeing that EPS anywhere, but I was referring to the blue line under the Scan+.  I was just wondering if that actually represented a blue model or if it was just meant to be a fancy decal.

If your machine won't scan during calibration, it can't.  On this software, it's actually best not to, anyway for reasons shown above.

ESchertz yup the blue line just a fancy decal like racing stripes on a car. your Cert shows you have a  "Global green"

Quick question while you guys are around. We have an HP-L-10.10 Laser scanner, but another CMM in our facility has the HP-S-X1C analog scanner. Can either of these both share heads or is there a license/machine parameter that needs to be changed? We have the same HH-AS8-T2.5 head and connectors.
