2021.1 Not showing the "crosshairs" or the basics for FCF Position

Give me about 15 minutes or so, having to close 2021.1 and open 2020 R1 to run an active program. lol

I think the best solution here may be just to install 2021.1 to a different location and steal the reporting files. It would be nice to figure out WHY it happened though.

No worries about needing time.

Would uninstalling 2021.1, then delete the 2021.1 folder under 'Users\Public\Documents\Hexagon\PC-DMIS\2021.1" (where the reporting files are located) then re-install also work?

Or what about running the installer, and choosing to repair?

You can try the repair option first, and see if all your files have the same "date modified" in the folder. Deleting the files after you uninstall is how I would do it if repair does not work.

So backing up here. At a previous company, we went from 2012 MR1 to 2018 R2. We simply copied the template and header from the 2012 Reporting folder to the 2018 R2 folder and set the now copied report template as default. I assumed doing the same thing in this case would yield same results, but with the major change from 2020 R1 to 2021.1 with Geo Tolerancing, this sounds like it is simply not the case.

Yes, that is definitely a major difference, i believe I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but they started using "SEGMENTS" for GD&T in 2020R2

No, it shouldn't mess with anything related to it

Hmm, so repairing the install did restore the template to original. However when selecting the template, it still shows the TP as a bar and not crosshairs and no summary. 

Selecting the TEXTONLY template makes the TP look like the pic below. Is this how your TP dims look like on your install (masked some info identifying my company/ part#)?
