CMM not registering movement.

I am using an old Tesa manual CMM, today the CMM stopped registering that the probe was being moved. another operator used it successfully before i attempted with no issue according to them. I power cycled it twice, it will not even register an accurate calibration.

If you want a group of peers to help, you need to provide SOME information.
--So you powered the machine down 2x, and now when you boot it, does the machine register that the probe is being moved?
--Do you have experience with calibrating this machine's probe? what makes it not work now?
--What machine is it? what software (if any) or interface are you using?
