New Offline Seat

Hey all,

Our company has an offline seat. Our IT Department replaced the computer and transferred the license to it. I would like to keep all my toolbar settings and display settings without having to manually change every setting. Also, the probe files.

I know you can back up the Settings Editor, but can I use that backup and import it to my offline seat?

We will be using 2014.1 on our offline seat running Windows 11.

Is there a way to export the window layout user settings and user made toolbars?

You can grab them from the user settings folder and just copy them over.
User settings folder differs from versions though.

For your sanity, backup the original user settings before overwriting them.

I have two options: copy the settings editor and user files from the old offline PC or use my current online seat running the same version PC-DMIS. (The old offline seat and older CMM uses the same version.) My QE loves 2014.1 because it runs like an old Buick lol

IT has already moved the license from the old Offline seat to the new one, not sure if I can access the Setting Editor without the license.
