Did someone make a new shortcut or something or mess with any of the current shortcuts? Sounds like someone may have messed with permissions on the shortcut you use. Right click the shortcut you use and check Properties > Security tab. Does your user name or group have all permissions? Maybe even access to the drive PC-DMIS is saved into? Have you asked IT if they rolled out any changes?

To my knowledge nothing was done on the computer after I shut it down Friday. I did right click on the shortcut and all the permissions are there.
Right click the shortcut, go to "properties" and look on the "compatibility" tab. Make sure "Run this program as an administrator" isn't selected
It is checked, but it is also grayed out and I can't uncheck it.
Then I'm assuming somebody who has an admin account must have logged in and set it at some point and that your account doesn't have admin rights. You will need to talk to your IT - or find whoever it was who changed the setting and ask them to revert the change.
Alternatively, perhaps your account credentials have been decreased - i.e. you previously had Admin rights which have been rescinded.
I've never had admin rights at this company, but the one guy here who has admin rights (IT?) logged in and unchecked run as admin and everything cleared up.
