Yes, if you set the file open type to "append", it will create the file.
However, it will not create new folders. If you need to create folders as well, there is an example routine you can download from the PC-DMIS homepage that shows you how to do it.
Many CMM's are isolated from the interwebz due to security issues and can not utilize the startpage as it is intended.
Would it be possible to create a small utility that we can use on computers that have access to Internet (but isn't connected to a CMM) to use to enjoy the fruits of the startpage?
The only thing the app would need to do is to show the resources that the startpage is showing (and allow downloading).
