I'm experiencing an issue with my CMM using PC-DMIS. When I switch to DCC mode and begin to take points, the probe successfully takes the first point (I can hear the beep indicating it was taken), but instead of retracting afterward, it drives directly into the part. I'm unsure which setting might have been changed to cause this behavior.
I've checked the retract distance and recalibrated the probe, but the issue persists. Any guidance on which settings to check or how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
