HI,
New to PCDMIS, used to be a Quindos operator/ junior programmer, and I was hired by my company to do programing for them. I am not a fan of having to use an almost decade old version of PCDMIS but that's what the company is requiring of me. I am used to quiondos having a generic plain texture for cad model built in. When I load an STP file into the graphical display it shows up as a wire frame as shown in this picture. When I try to apply a texture to the model i get an error saying, "Bitmap does not exist". In the help file I read that for a bitmap file to be valid its size has to be 2 to the power of X by 2 to the power of Y. Ex): 2^5 by 2^4 or 32x16 would be valid sizes.
Does anyone have any information about how to get a correctly sized bitmap file or how to edit one to be the correct size? this has been frustrating me all day and any help would be greatly appreciated!
