It has been ages since I have used the rotary scan function/freeform scan function, but we keep getting more round shaped parts with planes and more ridiculous tolerance where 4 points and constructed BF plane isn't cutting it for data/heatmaps.
When I select a plane in DCC ane either let the measurement strategy parameters do their thing and pick a plane with it colling, Instead of putting a ton of linear hits spaced to prevent crashes i remember being able to F9 the feature and change it to a rotary scan at a diameter setting. I vageuly remember having to select an initial point on the plane, then a directional point on same feature, then an endpoint for the path to end around "behind" the original point. I can't get it to accept this when tried, anyone use this function recently and able to give me a brief idea where I am going wrong?
Software; 2022.2, SP8
Hardware; HH-A-T5, HA-F, SP25M, SM25-4 with a fat shorty on it, I assume even not scanning modules can use this less the "scan" aspect and plot touchpoints which is when I last used this function.
