Good morning all. So I have run into an issue will scanning where the probe tip comes off the part 3/4 of the way into the scan of a circle. I started looking into my setting and found that the offset force for the scan was set to .003 which seemed a little low, so I looked at other programs that I didn't have a problem with and found that the offset force was set to .076. The reason it is different is that I programmed this on a different computer that apparently has different settings as default. I then changed it to .076 and reran the routine and the issue has stopped, and it scans touching the part all the way around now. My question is what is the best settings for offset force?
