Best fit Alignment

Untrained as of yet. 2 weeks to go. Lotsa questions
I have PCDMIS 4.3 mr1 on a Infinite 2.0 WINRDS 5.2.
I have brought in CAD and DMIS points. I execute and check all of the points and do a best fit alignment. My points are now out in space and doing a cad to part does not seem to line things up, what am I missing?Confused

  • Any number of things could be missing. Post some code for us to look at. A print or pic of the part.
In PCDmis, where your cursor is in the Edit Window is very important. Make sure you click on a line at the end of your program. If your cursor is set above your alignment, It will not visually show the points being aligned to your CAD in the Graphics Window.
