My IT guy is saying he needs an admin password to set up network access for it. Does anyone here know what it may be. I thought maybe it was generic. I had always thought that the "Romer" user ID had admin rights, but I guess not.
New computers which leave the Romer Carlsbad factory with arms do not have passwords. You should be able to leave the area blank and hit enter.
Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if he was just looking for the "Romer" ID password, which as you say is just hitting Enter.
I did not have this issue with our network but if you are not set up as admin on your computer your i.t. person will have to grant the user read write access to a few folders.
