Nominals From CAD?

I have just started using PC Dmis on a Romer and I've got a question that I hope some of you can help me out with. I keep loosing my nominal CAD values when I take a hit on a part. I have to press the middle button and then the done button to take a hit. However, the nominal values are replaced with the actual location of the probe rather than the theoretical location on the feature on the part/model. How do I stop that?

Also when I accidentally hit the button on the ARM with no dot, my pointer on the laptop screen goes crazy. How do I get control back of the pointer without having to shutdown PC Dmis?

Thanks

  • When the pointer goes crazy, you've made your arm the mouse by accidentally hitting the right trigger on the arm. Look @ your screen, find the cursor, and point it to the top of the screen (with the arm). Simply trigger that right button again. You'll see that your cursor won't freak out any more and you are set to measure again.
