help. corrupt or unknown probe ROMER0

When i load pc dmis it comes up right away with "CORRUPT OR UNKNOWN PROBE FILE: ROMER0"
I have 2 6mm probe files now and only one actual probe. I am very new to this romer arm and am getting crazy numbers because of this. I am on serious crunch time right now. Any suggestions?

  • If.you are using a Romer Absolute arm, you can delete the probe file by opening the RDS control panel, and choose probe tab. Arm should be power on and connected to see this tab. Make sure that you dont have the probe connected, highlight the bad probe that you want to delete then click on delete button. It should say 6mm ruby, next time you plug in your probe to your arm it will ask you to calibrate that probe.
If you are using Romer Infinite arm, probe file are always save on the arm so everytime you turn on the arm, it loads that information. Unless you turn off the autoload armspec option on WinRDS, armspec tab then it will use whatever armspec you have on your PC.
