I am wondering if anyone has tried to bring in a cloud of points into Solidworks (or any other CAD program) via .iges, change its alignment to match a point cloud and then brought it back into PC-DMIS to run a surface color map of the part?
Any help would be appreciated because we are not able to get our CAD model aligned to our cloud of points inside of PC-DMIS.
