If I change programs or let the Romer sit awhile between parts it locks up. The PC seems ok but if I try to exicute a program I cant take any hits till I close PC DMIS and restart. BB
I found this happening a lot with my WinXP laptops -- when the computer would go into "sleep mode" then it would lose connection with the arm. Changing the power settings of the laptop to "always on" via Control Panel fixed my issue.
Doesn't sound like this will fix 100% of your issue, but it may help.
We had our computer guy ot and he did some updates.......has not done it since. Our computer does not sleep, we keep it awake all day and shut down at nights.
