Of the books I've used Geo-Metrics III by Lowell W. Foster has been the best. I havn't owned any Alex Krulikowski books so I can't offer an opinion on his text.
The most direct is the ASME Y14.5-2009 standard itself. The standard is very clear and is easier to understand than some of the interpretations.

Measuring and Gaging Geometric tolerances by Gary Griffith is good for how to inspect to GD&T. He explains the symbols in a few pages and then shows how to inspect the tolerance using surface plate methods.
